Mission Statement

R.E.A.C.H is a community-based organization, which seeks to relieve some of the    intense suffering of the aged in the community. It is Jesus' love for all humanity, which inspired us to care for the elderly. It is   affiliated with the         Secretariat for Social Mission in the Diocese of Roseau.

Aim & Purpose

- To provide spiritual enrichment

- To provide care for persons in need, e.g. the abandoned       

   elderly

- To relieve the suffering of older persons

- To bring relief and companionship to the lonely, rejected and

    abandoned elderly

- To encourage and support relatives and/ or friends who care

   for the physically and mentally challenged who wish to 

   remain in their own homes

- To provide transportation  to assist clients in their needs

History
REACH started in 1979 when Sr. Suzanne (ICM Sister) began visiting elderly in her area. It was through these visits that Sr. Suzanne realized the dire need for the care of elderly in Dominica. Over the past 27 years, REACH has grown into a vital community organization serving over 300 older persons directly with a number of indirect beneficiaries
